In 2003, Jodi Brush, the daughter of a schoolteacher and a forester, recognized the need for honest, unbiased investment advice and planning for middle-class Americans. She wanted to share her secret: that abundance has everything to do with choice and that each of us can choose to embark on the adventure of seeking out a grand destiny. Jodi’s now husband, Keith Brush came aboard in 2010, working behind the scenes to tirelessly support our commitment to those we serve. Jeff Wells joined the crew in 2013 as a risk manager but quickly grew into the role of a full-fledged financial advisor.

In the search for a name to represent our mission, family history came into play. Jodi’s grandfather was an engineer who co-built the Rutan Voyager, the plane that circumnavigated the Earth on a single tank of gas in 1986. The plane’s journey stands as the inspiration for both our name and our hope for those we serve, symbolizing possibility, ingenuity, hard work, and freedom. With tireless care for your wellbeing and a little bit of tough love, our commitment to the financial success of the middle-class continues to this day.

Meet your Voyager Team

Jodi Brush, RICP®, AIF®

Owner & Principal Advisor

Jodi began her career in financial services in 2003, choosing to be an independent advisor rather than working for a large brand-name company. She continues to believe this is the best way to provide unbiased, comprehensive advice to people in need of financial leadership. Her passion involves creating distribution plans to help families transition into retirement while maintaining the lifestyle to which they have become accustomed. Special areas of focus include income planning, Oregon PERS, and the Federal Retirement System. Jodi is also an amateur gardener and loves traveling the world with her husband Keith.

Jeff Wells, AIF®

Financial Advisor

Jeff joined Voyager Wealth Management after a 17-year career as a public high school math teacher in Oregon City. He still has a heart for education and loves working with families who are new to financial planning. Jeff is an Oregon PERS, retirement savings, and college planning expert. When not helping clients, Jeff spends his time with his wife Jana and their three kids. Jeff especially enjoys supporting his kids in their sports, drama, and choir activities.

Stefanie Agar

Paraplanner

Stef joined the Voyager team as a financial advisor apprentice after 17 years in public education. Stef was proud to serve as president of the Canby Education Association from 2019 to 2022. She credits her parents for her love of financial planning, and she looks forward to empowering clients to take control of their financial future to ensure the retirement they deserve. Outside the office, Stef likes to exercise, frequent local eateries with friends, and take day trips to the Oregon Coast with her husband.

Keith Brush

Director of Operations

Keith joined the Voyager team in 2010 as a Risk Manager. After seeing the need for a client support specialist, he transitioned to that role and has been coordinating with Jodi and Jeff since. His primary focus includes ensuring the connections to our current and future clientele are handled with utmost care.  Outside of work hours, Keith is a performing musician playing bass with a number of local and regional groups. He also enjoys traveling the world with his wife, Jodi.

Jana Wells

Operations Assistant

Jana was welcomed to the Voyager team in 2022 as an Operations Assistant after years as an instructional assistant in the Oregon City School District. She was excited for the opportunity to work with her husband, Jeff, and to support the Voyager team in meeting & paperwork preparation. When Jana isn’t busy being a taxicab for their three children’s numerous activities, she enjoys spending times outdoors with her family or reading a good book.

Trixie Brush

Chief Barketing Manager

Our youngest and prettiest team member, Trixie found her home with us through Street Savvy Dog Rescue in November 2021. Her large head led us (erroneously) to believe she would be smart enough to be of some productive use, but instead she is just a sweet ambassador for her species. Trixie’s main duties include protecting the building from squirrels, ridding the halls of spiders, and sleeping too close to the heater. When not practicing these tasks, she plays with friends and enjoys the “zoomies” in the Brush’s back yard.

Proud supporters of the Mertie Stevens Scholarship

Muriel ‘Mertie’ Stevens was an Oregon Trail pioneer, Oregon City businesswoman, and philanthropist. Our connection to Ms. Stevens was inspired by our move to the newly christened Mertie Stevens Building near the top of the Oregon City Municipal Elevator in the historic McLoughlin District.  Voyager Wealth Management is honored to support the Mertie Stevens Scholarship, a merit-based monetary award granted to college-bound Clackamas County high school graduates.
